Counseling for the Coffee Lover (And Everyone Else Too)

One of the most difficult things to do when you're feeling overwhelmed, is focusing time and energy on yourself, your family, and/or your relationship. If you are able to commit to spending one hour per week on yourself, you may find that those moments provide you with more patience and a better sense of control overall.

Taking the first step by reaching out for a phone consultation and first appointment is a much bigger part of the process for growth than most people realize.

A little bit about Rebecca.

Rebecca was born in California, and she has lived in Austin for almost a decade. She received her bachelor's degree from UCLA and then went to school for her master's degree in professional counseling at Texas State University - San Marcos. While there, she specialized in marriage and family therapy, learning how to help people in all of life's transitions. She has experience working with families dealing with a chronic illness, adolescents with anxiety surrounding school and/or their social lives, and couples who have lost intimacy. She is able to incorporate concepts such as Gottman therapy, sexual history interviewing, mindfulness and other well-supported techniques to form a unique therapy for each client and family.
